A scientist based in London, England who specialises in finding animals which are incredibly difficult to find. And he has once again come up trumps. In the central highlands of the island of Sri Lanka, one of the shyest and hardest to see animals in the world, the Horton Plains Slender Loris has been sighted. This subspecies has only had 4 confirmed reports since it was first described in over 60 years ago, the last one coming eight years ago after scientists fleetingly spotted an eye shine whilst spotlighting.
